A DREAM DESTINATION FOR FOOD LOVERS

There are all kinds of dining around the corner from The Pattaya Village. Apart from our own restaurants, you’ll find pizzerias and Thai restaurants serving delicious and affordable dinner options. The restaurant Cabbage and Condoms is located at the bottom of our main street, Soy 4, with an amazing view over the ocean and a tropical atmosphere. The restaurant was started as a social initiative to educate Thai people on a range of issues.

Pattaya at large is one of the best dining destinations in Thailand offering a variety of gourmet delights ranging from street side vendors to sophisticated dining. Here the tasty Thai restaurants match with restaurants of different nationalities from across the world, both traditional and fusion, such as Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, Korean, English, Irish, Italian, French and German, to name but a few. Here you can see Japanese dishes being prepared for you by a private chef at the table and explore extensive wine menus at a secluded garden restaurant.

Being on the coastline gives Pattaya abundant seafood options, suited every budget. Here you can end the day with a table filled with tasty seafood platters prepared by talented chefs, watching the sun go down. Our favorites are crab curry, rock-lobster and king prawns!

A GOLFER´S PARADISE

Pattaya is a golfer´s paradise with over 20 golf courses of to choose from within a one-hour drive. Not only can these golf courses match anything found in Asia and beyond, but they also offer them at very fair prices.

Siam Country Club Old Course has a wonderful layout, perfect greens and a beautiful clubhouse, and was voted in the top 75 best golf courses in the world in 2018 by USA Golf Digest Magazine. The former pineapple plantation Siam Country Club Plantation Course offers a challenge for every golfer with its 27 holes located across elevated greens, blind tree shots and large high-lipped bunkers. The course is seen as one of the best in Thailand by most players.

SHOPPING, MARKETS AND CINEMAS

Pattaya is a shopper’s delight, Central Festival and Terminal 21. Both have a ton of stores spanning from food to clothes, shoes, sportswear, department stores and cinemas with the latest Hollywood and Thai films. In the VIP lounge you can treat yourself with a cinema experience out of the ordinary, blankets and drinks served at your seat.

WATER PARKS, ACTIVITY CENTERS AND MUSEUMS

Chonburi is home to an outstanding choice of amusement parks, water parks and visitor centers to keep children and adults busy for several weeks.

Only a 20-minute drive from the Pattaya Village you will find two of the largest and best water parks in Thailand: Ramayana Water Park and Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark. Here you find restaurants, high speed slides, wave pools and lazy rivers.

Other great options for the family are Art in Paradise, Ripley´s Believe It or Not Museum, Splashdown Waterpark Pattaya and Underwater World Pattaya.

KOH LARN AND THE ISLANDS

Although Pattaya is a bustling city, you are not far away from quiet islands, white sandy beaches and azure blue waters. With a public or privately rented boat you can easily access the islands just off the coast, where the coral island, Koh Larn, is a favorite amongst many. Only 7,5 km from Pattaya city, you can easily arrive early in the morning and stay until the late afternoon enjoying the tropical atmosphere, chilled waters and local restaurants.

AN INSIGHT INTO THE RICH THAI HERITAGE

Although Pattaya is a highly international city, it does not mean it has lost its Thai charm and connection to the unique Thai culture and heritage. Here you can visit the 18 meters high Buddha statue overlooking the city at Buddha Hill, 100,000 square meter development called the “Four Regions Floating Market” representing the four large regions of Thailand and join a “Mokata”, which is the typical Thai BBQ. You can also visit Wat Yansangwararam temple and Wat Chaimongkol temple.

Pattaya is also home to the spectacular Sanctuary of Truth, which is a one-of-a-kind teak structure that brings together religion, philosophy and a humbling demonstration of human endeavor and skill. The wood has not been treated or chemically protected, which means that once one section is completed another will have to be renewed or improved. The beautiful Sanctuary of Truth will therefore always be a work in progress.

The Buddha Mountain is also well worth a visit. Here you will find the largest Buddha engraving in the world with its 130 meters height.

THE VINEYARD AT SILVERLAKE

Silverlake is something as unusual as a large vineyard in the countryside of Pattaya. Here several grape varieties are grown and they produce their own Red, Rosé and white wines. Here you can stroll through Italian style buildings, try some of the wines, join a guided tour of the wine yard and take in the beautiful views of the wooded hills.

SHOWS AND ENTERTAINMENT

Pattaya has several venues for extravagant cabaret shows, which is a great evening activity. The colorful shows have garnered world-wide fame for their glamorous entertainers mixed with Thai culture and history. The Alangkarn Theatre Show, Tiffany Show and The Alcazar Cabaret Show bring together the experiences from cultural shows, circuses, musical concerts and a world-class stage production in one.
